睡前小酌可助眠?“老酒民”这次可能真的错了

  很多人都认为喝酒可以助眠,有些“资深酒民”还现身说法,表示在酒喝微醺的时候,感觉自己全身的神经都十分放松,于是便想当然地认为,睡前小酌有利于睡眠。事实上,喝酒助眠的说法并不靠谱,而且会危害健康。

  北京朝阳医院睡眠呼吸中心主任郭兮恒在接受《健康时报》采访时指出,酒精进入人体后,首先会引起中枢神经兴奋,随着酒精浓度的升高,又会使中枢神经受到抑制而产生困意、昏昏欲睡,很多人认为这就达到“助眠”效果了。事实上,这是中枢神经受到损害的一种表现,它破坏了神经系统兴奋与抑制的平衡,对人有害无益。酒后引起的睡眠与正常生理性入睡是完全不同的。酒精虽然有一定的镇静催眠作用,但持续时间比较短暂,大约3~4小时睡意便会消失,酒精的“催眠效应”消失后,身体就会出现心跳加快、呼吸急促等交感神经兴奋的症状,这时人们反而容易惊醒,甚至导致失眠。

  同济大学附属同济医院老年医学科副主任医师李健在接受《新民晚报》采访时也指出,酒精的作用会扰乱睡眠状态,使人出现经常早醒、睡眠质量较低、熟睡时间缩短等问题。

  由此可见,睡前小酌并不能帮助人们睡个好觉,不仅如此,据《齐鲁晚报》报道,睡前饮酒还会引发诸多疾病:

  1.导致脑溢血。睡前饮酒大多属于空腹饮酒,这时酒精易被血液吸收,导致血液中酒精含量升高,强烈刺激血管内壁,从而使血压升高。也就是说,喝得越多,血压越高,这会使已经硬化了的脑部血管破裂,导致脑溢血。

  2.易伤风感冒。很多老人冬天因为怕冷,经常在睡前喝两口白酒御寒,觉得身子暖了可以睡得好。可是从科学观点上看,饮酒不但起不到御寒作用,反而会使全身血管扩张,使体内热量散发得更多更快,更易伤风感冒,诱发多种疾病。

  3.导致猝死。对于有睡眠呼吸性障碍的病人来说,睡前饮酒更加危险。若出现两次打鼾(即呼吸性障碍),每次窒息十几秒钟,不但会使血压升高,还可能引发冠状动脉痉挛、心绞痛、心肌梗死,甚至心脏功能紊乱而猝死。

  此外,如果睡前并非小酌而是醉酒,危害会更大。据《成都晚报》报道,酒精被分解后会产生乙醛,如果醉酒后立即入睡,乙醛在体内循环会致使一定程度的脱水,表现为口干舌燥,有可能导致睡眠中途醒来,此后便更加难以入睡。而且,过量饮酒本身就会损害心、脑、胃、肠等内部脏器,并可导致高血压、糖尿病等疾病的发生,损害身体健康。

  因此,睡前饮酒可助眠的说法并不靠谱,大家切勿信以为真。(陆海军)
